Deze monumentale uitgave presenteert voor het eerst de complete liveopnames van trompettist Lee Morgan en zijn kwintet in de Lighthouse-club in Hermosa Beach, Californië. Gedurende drie avonden in juli 1970 werd de band op het hoogtepunt van haar kunnen vastgelegd. Samen met saxofonist Bennie Maupin, pianist Harold Mabern, bassist Jymie Merritt en drummer Mickey Roker verkent Morgan de grenzen van zijn repertoire. Deze boxset bevat alle twaalf opgenomen sets, die een diepgaand inzicht geven in de creatieve energie en de avontuurlijke improvisaties van de groep.
