Chet Baker on Vinyl

Baker was born in 1929 to Irish parents in the small town of Yale, Oklahoma. He developed into a jazz trumpeter and sweet-voiced singer. Baker is characterized by the soft melancholy tone that he uses in his singing and playing in the same way: "he sings as he plays".
