Fear of the Dark is het negende studioalbum van de Britse heavy metalband Iron Maiden. Het werd uitgebracht op 11 mei 1992 door EMI Records. Het album werd geproduceerd door Steve Harris en Martin Birch.

Het album bevat de singles "Be Quick or Be Dead", "From Here to Eternity", "Afraid to Shoot Strangers", "Fear Is the Key" en "Wasting Love".

Fear of the Dark is het laatste album met Bruce Dickinson als leadzanger tot hij in 1999 terugkeerde voor The X Factor.
