Megadeth has finally announced their highly anticipated 16th studio album 'The Sick, The Dying…And The Dead' and shared a first track with us: 'We'll Be Back'
The new album will be released on September 2, 2022. It is therefore the first time that new work has been released since singer Dave Mustaine recovered from throat cancer.
'The Sick, The Dying...And The Dead' was recorded at Mustaine's house, you will hear guitarist Kiko Loureiro and drummer Dirk Verbeuren alongside temporary bassist Steve DiGiorgio.
In June 2020, Mustaine revealed that the band had recorded 18 new songs for the follow-up to 2016's "Dystopia", while in April last year he said he only had "one song left to sing". In late November, Mustaine suggested they were aiming for a spring 2022 release, but at the start of the year, the band blamed vinyl delays for the wait.
