ECM Vinyl

The label was founded in 1969 by Manfred Eicher on the initiative of Karl Egger. It initially issued mainly jazz albums; key artists of the time were Keith Jarrett, Gary Burton and the early Pat Metheny. Chick Corea has also recorded a number of albums for this label.
The recording quality of the albums has been praised time and again for their clarity.
