When Cat Stevens (Yusuf) released two albums in a row in just seven months in 1970, he could not have imagined that special Super Deluxe Collectors Edition Box Sets would ever be released. Decades flew by, the music stood like a house and those Super Deluxe Collectors Edition Box Sets came naturally. Both albums will be available from December 4.
These albums accelerated his career at the time. He became the troubadour of his generation, paving the way for many singer-songwriters who came after him with songs like 'Father & Son', 'Wild World', 'Morning Has Broken'.
'Mona Bone Jakon' shows a personal, vulnerable side of the singer, who struggled with his health during that period. On the later 'Tea For The Tillerman', however, you can already hear that he has come out of this stronger both physically and musically. Inspired and inspired songs that seem to spring from an infinite source of creativity and militancy.
