Eleventh studio album Pearl Jam will be released on Vinyl in March

The American rock band Pearl Jam will release a new album for the first time in seven years, which can be read on the AD website. The group of singer and guitarist Eddie Vedder presents Gigaton, their eleventh studio album, on March 27.

The last album was Lightning Bolt from 2013, for which the group won a Grammy. "Making this record has been a long road," guitarist Mike McCready said in a brief statement posted on the website. "It was emotionally dark and at times very confusing. But the process also gave us excitement and an experimental map towards musical redemption."

McCready had already announced in November that the group had recently dived back into the studio. The group had already hinted at an exciting announcement on social media this weekend, with two mysterious photos.Pearl Jam is regarded as one of the great bands that the American city of Seattle spawned in the 1990s.

Debut album Ten smashed into 1991 like a bomb, thanks to hits like Jeremy, Alive and Black.The group comes to the Netherlands in July for two concerts in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
