Andy Shauf is a perfectionist and you can hear that on his new album

The new album Neon Skyline by Andy Shauf will be released next week. The Canadian impresses with his honest and personal songs, often about heartache and loneliness. He carefully selects his words, which makes his work sound almost poetic. The somewhat gloomy-looking subjects therefore still sound accessible.
In terms of production, his records are not inferior to the soft rock masterpieces from the seventies, the arrangements are subtle and rich at the same time and Shauf is also blessed with a warm voice in the Elliot Smith category.
