De Zuid-Afrikaanse slam-juggernauts van Vulvodynia leveren met Praenuntius Infiniti hun vijfde, carrièredifinierende album af. De plaat staat bol van lobotomiserende riffs, moordende blastbeats en slams die smerig genoeg zijn om een septische shock op te wekken. Geproduceerd door Christian Donaldson (bekend van o.a. Cryptopsy), bouwt het album een verhaal op over een interdimensionale goddelijke entiteit. De band verlegt hierop haar muzikale grenzen en wordt bijgestaan door een legio aan gastartiesten uit de extreme metalscene.

Een meedogenloze mix van technische deathcore en slamming brutal death metal, gekenmerkt door een combinatie van technisch vernuft en loodzware, logge breakdowns.
