The Tightropes - Babies (7'' single)

The Tightropes are a steaming blues driven funky-ass trio, and they know how to play! “I jam, therefor I am” would be an appropriate second name for the band: their live performances are packed with on-the-spot improvised pieces of soul. 

The band’s playing style is in the same tradition as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, or any other power-trio from that era. However, the band added a spoonful of deep funk a la Sly or Meters to this concept, which gives rise to their characteristic sound and vibe.

These boys are a force to be reckoned with, and their joy of playing together is bound to put a smile anyone’s face.
