The vibrant Chicago based composer/producer/ drummer’s most compositionally-forward, orchestral, and personal release to date. Showcasing prominent, expansive string arrangements written by Makaya McCraven, which is a first for him on any recording of his, complex rhythms and time signatures composed & performed by Makaya

. Although the project is an instrumental album it explores themes of social unrest; lending its name of the album from socialist left wing Chicago publication.
