American rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer Richie Sambora is best known as the former lead guitarist of Bon Jovi's rock band, for which he was induced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Sambora also released several solo albums, including his second studio album Undiscovered Soul, originally released in 1998. The album was produced by Don Was, who previously worked with artists such as Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson and Elton John amongst many others.
