Ministry - Ministry (Psalm 69) (LP)

Met Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs leverde Ministry in 1992 een baanbrekend album af. De plaat betekende de commerciële doorbraak voor de band van frontman Al Jourgensen en zette de standaard voor industrial metal in de jaren negentig. Het album is een meedogenloze aanval op de zintuigen, vol met zware gitaarriffs, stampende drummachines, vervormde zang en een chaotische collage van samples. Nummers als "N.W.O.", "Just One Fix" en het iconische "Jesus Built My Hotrod" groeiden uit tot klassiekers binnen het genre. De muziek is agressief, confronterend en tegelijkertijd onweerstaanbaar ritmisch.
