Na een stilte van twintig jaar keerde de Zweedse progressieve rockband Kaipa in 2002 terug met het album Notes from the Past. Dit monumentale werk, waarop oprichter Hans Lundin werd herenigd met gitarist Roine Stolt, markeerde een triomfantelijke rentree voor de groep. De plaat bracht de klassieke symfonische sound van de band terug, verrijkt met een moderne productie en gelaagde composities. Voor het eerst in de geschiedenis is dit veelgeprezen album nu beschikbaar op vinyl. Deze speciale heruitgave is voorzien van een gloednieuwe remaster uit 2022.
